The film was in black and white and I cant really remember it but the book was much better .

Recently finished one of my favourite novels, IT by Stephen King, fantastic story. Now reading At the Mountains of Madness by HP Lovecraft.

I find IT really slow, i've never managed to get all of the way through.

I think At the Mountains of Madness is on my 'to read' list, is it any good so far?

I agree with you for sure on it seeming slow at first, but once it picks up, it's really fantastic. I think a lot of the historical padding out of Derry is what makes the content difficult to get through, but once you finish, it makes a lot of sense and you appreciate the time it took for everything to be set in motion and such if that makes any sense.

The Lovecraft novel is interesting so far, though i'm only a couple of chapters in :D

IT is a fantastic book. Takes a while to get going, but it's well worth it.

Just read: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Currently reading: Michael Collins by Tim Pat Coogan.
Next: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

I'm reading Invisible Monsters (Chuck Palahniuk) for like, the seventy-eighth time. It's about a girl. Birds ate her face. Yes, I enjoy being cryptic. It's a good read though.

Just finished Impulse - Ellen Hopkins.

Seems to be a pretty popular choice around here. I liked it, too. = ]
