Finally finished it. I gave it 3 (in reality it was 2 and a half stars but good reads dont allow half stars) stars, but it was too long and waffley in the middle. It could have done with being 100 pages shorter. It seems to be a common complaint on amazon. Also there is mention of a WhatsApp group in the book but they don't actually post in it in the book. It seemed a pointless thing to mention. If those issues had been dealt with it would have been 4 stars. Would I read it again? Yes I probably would.

The book is about her journey with anorexia. Was very well written.

Hmm, have had a look through some reviews as well now and it's on my to read list but will need to be careful, judging by some of the reviews!

4 stars for this. About to start The Pants Project by Cat Clarke

Pi.R^2 02-04-2024 09:01 AM

^accidentally finished the Pants Project when I couldn’t sleep during the night! Awaiting some trans voices before I make a final decision on my rating as I feel like a jerk as a cis woman rating another cis woman on her book about a trans boy!
