My Cuts are all dry and look black- possible infection?

this is kinda gross
wednesday night i had paramedics to help me stop mycuts from bleeding ( didnt need stitches or glue, just got cleaned and banaged) i took off the dressings thursday and cleaned them using anti-septic solution and warm water, patted them dry and applied anti-septic savlon. i normally wear long sleeves and with the humid weather we've been having its been horrible, ive kept the cuts clean but they are SO damn itchy :(. ive tried not to itch, knock or aggrevate them in any way but they look really dry, flaky and parts of them look black, is this normal?
should i see a doctor or nurse about it?

I've experienced the same thing honey, my cuts get very itchy and are sometimes quite dark. I think the itching is just a sign of healing and the fact that they're dark doesn't mean they're infected I don't think. Don't take my word for it, let's see what other people say. :)
Stay safe, love!

The dark bits could perhaps be dried blood.

My cuts used to be black and it was because the tops I was wearing were dark and some of the fluff got stuck in them and made them appear black so that could be a possibility (I was an idiot and never used to dress my wounds though so it was my own fault) x

If they're not red, warm, oozing etc they're probably not infected :) The itching generally shows they're scabbing over and healing. The blackness is, as previously said, probably dried blood or clothes fuzz. Keep putting antiseptic and stuff on just in case though :)

thanks all for the advice, they seem to have started scarring over already, back to bio-oil and coco butter it is!
