Another poem I've been meaning to put up..
 

An angel fell and broke her wings
She rests her head but does not dream
Her throat has grown to hoarse to sing
Broken from the screaming.

She watched the world pass her by
Her eyes were soft like summer rain
Alone, she bows her head and cries
Too weak to lift her head again.

Her once golden hair fell across her face
Her feet were weary from the tread
She was tired now and wanted peace
And placed a noose around her neck

Wow this is so pretty! It really creates an image of pain in my mind. And it's got a good rhythm too.
