feeling faint/dizzy
I know this happens due to lack of eating but how can this occure when one eats a large amount of food. today i ate the same as everyone else...yet i feel faint and everytime i move i feel fainter and dizzy- whats going on?

It could be that your blood pressure is low and what happens when you move, especially straight after you stand, is that your blood can get moved around before your body can put in mechanisms to stop it and it can move away from your brain; such as if you stand up often blood pools towards your feet before the vessels in your legs narrow stopping the blood do this. This then means your blood isn't where it needs to be and so can cause dizziness/ fainting.
However, also, just after eating normal amounts for one day means that your body is likely to save the energy from that and not use it later as it will be anticipating a future time where it will have none and so it will use as little of that as possible (this is only in the very beginning stages of recovery and recovery is a good thing for your health overall) and so can make you feel like this as a result. |
im sorry i dont understand.

Basically, even after eating you will still feel dizzy for a while after wards because your body won't want to use it on bringing up your blood pressure or other things, since its not sure when its next meal will be.

Your body is confused, first it's been starved, and now suddenly it has food, and it doesn't know what it should do, use it now, or store it for later.

Basically as said above, yep, the food gets stored at first for if there is another period where you don't eat and so you don't use that as energy. As well as that you can have a low blood pressure (which is quite common in young women) that is separate from you ED anyway
