idk what i will read next. maybe murakami's a wild sheep chase.

how much of murakami's stuff have you read? Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is the only one that i've got. i thought it was weird, but i really liked it, and always been wondering if it's worth buying any of his other books.

i've read dance dance dance & norwegian wood.
dance dance dance was pretty strange but i liked it. some bits took a little while to get started though.
i really liked norwegian wood. it was more straight-forward plotwise 'cause it's just a love story but i thought it was real pretty.

i'm actually reading james frey's a million little pieces again. i don't know why. i finished lolita this morning & picked up a million little pieces even though i've already read it.

Sonic Dreams 16-05-2009 07:26 AM

I'm now reading The Girl at the Lion D'Or, and finding it quite hard to get into. It's just typically Seb Faulks; very rich, thick description.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix - for the fifth time. I really want to give up on it though, it's so hard to read... felt like the author wasn't even trying to write this book, just publishing it for money...

crazykat 23-05-2009 11:11 AM

I just read 'The Tenth Circle' by Jodi Picoult. I didn't really enjoy it, it was kindof boring.

Now I'm reading something of my mum's that I picked up, by Nora Roberts. Can't remember the title. It's awful!! Really need to find some good books!

Jodi Picoult is an AWESOME author!!! I was crying at the end of "My Sister's Keeper"

I just finished "A Choir of Ill Children" by Tom Piccirilli. I thought it was rather pointless.

An awesome yet creepy book is "Velocity" by Dean Koontz.

I'm also reading the Harry Potter Series (again, for like the fourth time) and "The Wings of a Falcon" by Cynthia Voight and "The Fox Woman" by Kij Johnson.

Eh-he...*coughs* I'm a bit of a bookworm, I suppose... :)

Just finished Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult, looks like a lot of them on here... lol

If you want a good book, you MUST read either The Hour I First Believed or I Know This Much is True, both of which are by Wally Lamb. They are excellent.

Dreaming. 01-06-2009 03:50 PM

Currently in the middle of The Kite Runner (it's so desperately sad in parts!), and after that, reading The Poisonwood Bible, which I'm looking forward to.

I'm pretty sure that there's a sequel to The Kite Runner, Jo, which might be worth a read if you enjoy it. :)
It's a book both my mum and gran have read, and one I want to read.

As for me, I've finally started reading again! It's been too long.

I'm reading Notes on a Scandal, by Zoe Heller.
