One month - * positive recovery post*
 

It's been 1 month! I have not self-harmed for 1 month again! This is after I had gone for a 4 months and a week well for months and five days to get technical. So for me this is Major again. I was going to reward Myself by going swimming and instead I decided to put the money and that I would have used for swimming into my vacation funds so that I can hopefully go on vacation a little bit sooner. I'm so happy! I'm in a really good place emotionally and I've been doing a whole lot better.

Congrats! I totally agree with rewarding yourself.

If you're worried about your scars when going swimming then dont be. I go most weeks and nobody has ever commented. I have been going for over 5 years. But hopefully you'll enjoy your holiday.

Going down to Florida. Hopefully will have enough saved in two more months. I live in Ohio, so I have an eight day trip planned. It will be my second trip taken all by myself. I went last October to New York to the Finger Lakes region to see waterfalls. Loved it! I love Florida, too, and it will be fun to go there on my own. Have always gone with my parents before. Need to make my own new memories.
