Edward.. yeah, I knew it was familiar character.. I'm ashamed to tell but I've read FMA 4 or 5 volumes.. and also looked few episodes anime.. and I couldn't even remember Edward's name!!

I'm ashamed to say my tastes range mainly in the popular, since I don't really have a source to go find unknown anime on my own and my parents disapprove of anime. They grew up in the WWII times, and are the ugly American type, and generally are racist and hate the Japanese.
But these are the ones that I have seen and love. Any recommendations would come greatly appreciated.
FMA
Cowboy Bebop (though don't watch too often, as I have seen episodes far too many times)
Witchblade (yep, the anime spin is amazing)
Death Note (original with subtitles preferred)
Hellsing
Trinity Blood
Trigun (I <3 Vash)
Sometimes I'm in the mood for Inuyasha.
And I like Bleach okay.
Oh, when I was little I used to watch Gundam Wing and Voltron, but they never air the originals anymore. :(

awh.. I'm sorry to hear about your parents.. mine hardly know how to open computer.. =D so no help from them in my case either.. though they can't stop me from anything on computer 'cause they don't know how.. he he..

hmm.. I have FMA, Death Note, Trinity Blood and Bleach too.. I've had Hellsing and Trigun too but those files were huge and I had a lack of space so I deleted them.. Should ask them back from my friend now that I have a new hard disk..
I think Bleach was much better in manga than anime.. and Death Note is just gorgeous in any way; anime, manga, live action.. And Hellsing was great too, maybe a bit better in anime and well that's the original so makes sense..

I have a bit over 120gigabytes anime atm.. though over 35gigabytes are somekind of yaoi/shonen-ai/yuri stuff.. Haven't even seen them all.. My friend just gathers anime and manga a lot and she gives me the copies..
