What's disengaged? If you mean discord then it's nothing to do with this site. It's to do with The Good Limbo so all complaints etc should be taken to the mods there.

If you are talking about this site it's sometimes slow to take effect but it will get done eventually. Just gotta be patient.

Is disengaged the username you have requested? I'm not sure if the mod(s) who is/are able to do username changes are active any more.

Unfortunately we currently cannot process username requests as the mod that had access has moved on and we have been unable to pass this power on to any active mods.

If that is the case, would someone be allowed to make a new account with that different name and just start using that account instead?

Don't see why not, though I appreciate it's not the most convenient way to get a new username! You've always been allowed to have multiple accounts as long as you're not lying about it.

That was my thought, just wanted confirmation. Just trying to think of an alternate solution for the OP if they are set on wanting a new username.

eta: Good thing I changed my username a long time ago or I'd have had issues once I changed my actual name lol!
