Just finished Cut by Cathy Glass and moved onto Shadows on the moon

Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins.

Might move onto Mockingjay (Suzanne Collins) after that or read the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness.

The War Doctor 15-12-2011 03:13 PM

Finished The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King this morning. Although my complaints about it still stand, I liked it. Even though the protagonist was far too mature, intelligent and level-headed for someone of her age and in her situation, King still did a good job of making her believable, just enough so you empathise with her and want her to be rescued. The ending was pretty sweet too.

I haven't decided what I'm going to read next... maybe Devils by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Chicken Soup for the Soul.

The War Doctor 17-12-2011 04:17 AM

Just started Devils by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I haven't finished the introduction yet but so far I'm enjoying it. This book actually seems to have a sense of humour (albeit a very dark one), something that I've never noticed in any other Dostoevsky book I've read so far.

Dreaming. 17-12-2011 10:42 AM

Just finished Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (the first one) and now reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson and Kafka on the Shore by Murakami.

I just read "It's Kind of a Funny Story" by Ned Vezzini. It was excellent. It deals with depression, but with a very uplifting and sometimes funny tone. I could relate to it and I'm sure many here could too. It's a movie now as well and Zach Gilafinakis(sp?)(from the hangover, lol). Definitely one you can't put down. :)

I'm currently reading 'The legend of Drizzt book 1 - Homeland' by R. A. Salvatore. I'm going to read the second book after this one and then I want to finish my book about BPD.
