I'm in for tonight.
I feel so bad... I'm looking at all these threads in Vets support and I want to offer advice or words of comfort but I can't.

I'm just trying to get through tonight.

You dont always need to offer support or advice. Sure offer it when you can, but dont burn yourself out. If you o you will be no good to anyone espically not yourself. Take some time to chill out.

I just feel so terribly alone - me and the bottle tonight - fun.

I fully understand what you mean. Its the closeness of human companionship.
I dont know the full story or anything, but im sure in time you will be able to find this closeness elsewhere.

The full story is long and boring to be honest.

i will find it again... it's just weird being on my own after so long.

It is strange being on your own again, but try to stay ocupied.
Perhaps some nights out with friends and such.
And where all ehre for you inbetween.

Normally I would be out.
But lack of funds.
Going out saturday though which will be enjoyable.
With any luck anyway.
