I can understand the fear of leaking! I have a heated underblanket. I have so many warm things!

6:30 start?! Nope. Just... Nope. I just about manage 9am!

Morning all. A heated throw is top of my Christmas list! I'd be too hot with a heared under blanket- do you find you can feel the wires aubergine?

Not sure I could manage a 7.30 start either np! I get up at 6.20, on a bus at 7.30 and start 8.30 (more like 8.15) and that is hard enough!!

It's a miserable day out :( so I hope you all have nice plans to cheer you up.

I used to have a stuffed toy that you could microwave as an alternative to hot water bottle! No danger of leakage!

It's nice outside but I think a bit cold.

I used to do English Lit in uni before I had to quit. I'm planning to go back to do that, perhaps a joint degree with Classics!

It was drizzly here this morning too.

An 8 minute commute sounds good! Though I am not sure I would like living that close to work. I'm not far away at the moment but door to door is 45 minutes or so - walk then ten minutes on the train then walk.

Drizzle turned into proper rain, yay. =) But not for long.

Yeah I’m only like 3 miles away from work.

I really struggle to get to places due to executive dysfunction, so I'm hoping I can get a place close to the university, and a job close to home.

It's been uncharacteristically warm in the Land of Vampyres. I had to take of my hoodie and coat when I got off the plane. I kind of miss Welsh weather, it's what I'm used to I guess.

It's been a good and bad post day. Good because I have recieved a card from post crossing but bad because I have recieved my pip assessment date. My cpn is off this week so I can't phone her to check that the date is ok.

In spite of being obsessed with the X-Men I haven't actually seen any of the films! I think I'm afraid I won't like them and will be as upset as I was with Vanessa's portrayal in Deadpool.
(She was supposed to be a mutant, as seen in my avatar!)

Which Marvel characters/films do you prefer then, Beckie?

I would say the X-men films are worth watching but you do have to let go of the fact there are some character differences etc.

Never seen/read Deadpool, worth doing so I assume?

My favourites are Thor, Iron Man and deadpool. And the X men!

The Deadpool films aren't too bad. Really enjoyed the first one. I think the second one is objectively quite good, but it comes with a trigger warning. The comics are great but I haven't read nearly enough of them!

Maybe I will one day... My attention span for films is rubbish, though, and I find comics and graphic novels really difficult to read.

Speaking of solved problems, my heating is working! But I had to put it on manual rather than the auto setting.

So now I have heating, a warm Bagpuss, hot chocolate and a real non-microwaveable cat for warmth!

I am jealous. I'm still not home and I'm starting to loose feeling in my fingers. Well they are very very sore and cold.
