I liked it... it was depressing...but in a good way. Can relate to getting a bit bored of it though...we read it in class though for our GCSEs so I had no choice! lol

I am reading A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. I've not really got into it yet, but I normally find him very readable and my local library doesn't have much that appeals to me.

I have read that, I thought it was good, think it might have been a wee bit slow to begin with but once you get to know the characters(sp sorry!) it gets better. I had never read any of his other books so couldn't compare.

if i had to pick one book to read over and over again for the rest of my life, it would be A Million Little Pieces. i'm sure you've all heard of it... on the news. or oprah. whatever. haha it's a FANTASTIC book even if it's "all lies". i've read it four or five times now.

i just finished reading, for the third time, Needful Things by Stephen King. it's one of his older ones, and it's a ginormous read. tiny print, really thick book. but it's a wonderful story. never gets boring. never has too much detail. the only problem i have with it is that there are 2984752394762730597048305783082508386 x 10^3067359 characters. even my third time through the book, i was still doing some flipping back and forth to make sure i had the names right. you know how SK is with his characters intertwining... but this is like 'heyyyy make a character chart'. awesome book though. i could just eat it up. :burger:

I have to say that H.P. Lovecraft and Chuck Palahniuk are amazing writers and I love everything they've written.

Also: the book "House of Leaves" is fantastic.

Right now I'm not reading anything in particular, but I have a number of books I just purchased, among them The Bible, Matrix Warrior, and Hardcore Zen.

I'm planning on buying some new Lovecraft soon...

Loved that book, great work of fiction. ^^ Got it for like $1 at a rummage sale in almost new condition and now it's slightly worn from me rereading it. ^^
