It was really, really hard work, there were many a time my body was like 'Mike, give up, i can't take anymore' but I stuck at it and it got better!

The boss knew I was suffering with the lifting and was getting really tired and all that (i'm so unfit) but he said he could tell I was trying my very hardest and was giving all I could.

I hope that my sway him as I really did like the work and i know with time i'll get fitter and be able to do me.

I think all the cuts, bruises etc I got shows how hard i worked haha.

Fingers crossed I get a job out of it!

I have no idea, I think maybe in a few weeks.

Super exciting. They're probably used to people coming into the job and struggling right at first. Most people aren't fit for that that type of job unless they're already working one. Your potential and willingness to work hard are more important than physical fitness.

Yeah, that's true! I even said to the boss, i've been out of work that long it's really hard but i've tried my very best and I couldn't give any more than I did! At times I was actually like, I either sit down or fall down but I just kept going and worked my way through it.

Sadly it wasn't anythiing fancy like that, it was doing driveways haha.

Well, we started to rip up one drive way, left someone there to carry on while me, the boss and someone else went off to do other things.
