Aubergine 23-03-2018 02:54 PM

It does take time! I need to do some laundry, really.

nonperson 23-03-2018 03:41 PM

Hi folks.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 03:42 PM

Person. :) How's it going?

nonperson 23-03-2018 03:45 PM

It's going.

Pondering lunch.

You feeling any better?

chinahorse 23-03-2018 03:47 PM

It must be cleaning day, Ive managed to get everything clean and do some laundry. So am pleased even if its not as much as I wanted to get done. *shakes fist at body*

What're you thinking of having NP?

Hows you feeling aubergine?

Aubergine 23-03-2018 03:47 PM

Lunch sounds like a good plan. What're the options?

I think I do feel a bit better. :)

nonperson 23-03-2018 03:50 PM

I've got some Nandos chicken and lettuce and cheese to put in a wrap. And Easter eggs.

Yay for feeling better. =)

Aubergine 23-03-2018 03:54 PM

Sounds delicious! :)

I now only feel sick if I move too quickly. :wow:

nonperson 23-03-2018 03:56 PM

Well, you know the answer to that. =)

Eska 23-03-2018 03:59 PM

Afternoon everyone.

I just had a nap and now I feel groggy.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 04:02 PM

Haha! Yes. Move sloooooooooowly!

Hey Eska. :) Could you splash some water on your face?

chinahorse 23-03-2018 04:10 PM

blergh dont listen to sensible suggestions eska- go back to sleep! :-P

OMG jealous of the easter eggs. Well brain says jealous, body is indifferent but I usually shut it up with chocolate.

Well thats some improvement at least aubergine!

Aubergine 23-03-2018 04:13 PM

I do hope I get an Easter Egg this year! May have to get myself one if not. :P

Yes, it is. :) Still in bed, but that's OK for today. :)

nonperson 23-03-2018 04:30 PM

Buy yourself one anyway then if you get one as a gift it'll be win-win!

chinahorse 23-03-2018 04:32 PM

Agreed. Also if you can wait till the day after easter egg day they're reduced and town is normally hideously quiet.

nonperson 23-03-2018 04:33 PM

I tried to get one last year after Easter and the shelves were empty. There was not one egg left in the store... Not one.

chinahorse 23-03-2018 04:35 PM

Wow! I got 3 for a fiver in Thornton one glorious year.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 04:39 PM

I think I will buy myself one!

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 04:53 PM

Hello. I bought an Easter egg today. :) I haven't been so terrible with eating too many of them this year though!

Aubergine 23-03-2018 04:54 PM

Hey Lindsay. :) How's it going?

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 05:01 PM

Hi, I'm finding myself unable to figure out an answer to that these days. Struggling but surviving I guess.

How are you doing Aubergine?

Aubergine 23-03-2018 05:05 PM

Sounds tricky. Have a hug. Been up to much?

I'm alright. Got a stomach bug, but I think I'm coming out of the other side of it now. :)

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 05:07 PM

Oh poor you, how long have you been feeling unwell? Sending get well wishes.

Thanks for the hug. I was at a gym group yesterday and creative writing today. Spending far too much time in bed!

Aubergine 23-03-2018 05:16 PM

Only since yesterday afternoon. Think it's a 24 hour thing, as it seems to be settling. Hate stomach bugs! Thank you. :) I've been in bed since I got home from seeing a friend yesterday, though I did shower and get into clean pyjamas and change my bed today. Love clean sheets. :)

Well done for going to the gym group and creative writing group. :) How were they?

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 05:21 PM

Clean sheets are almost a joy! Bit of a nuisance doing the changing of the sheets though. I'm glad things seem to be settling.

The groups were alright. I actually felt like I had things to say when we were in the cafe after the gym group for a change.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 05:28 PM

That's great. :) Well done. :)

Thank you. They are a nuisance to put on, but delightful once they're actually on and you can snuggle underneath them. :D

not_so_insig 23-03-2018 05:48 PM

I have fresh sheets tonight.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 06:09 PM

Lovely Dawn! :)

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 08:09 PM

My sheet change day is a Sunday.

What's everyone getting up to this evening?

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 08:16 PM

Today is my 10 year anniversary of changing my username. *party popper*

chinahorse 23-03-2018 08:26 PM

*lobs confetti*

I'm watching supervet. He is an incredible human being. Absolutely incredible.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 08:46 PM

That's cool, Lindsay! :)

I've never seen it, Lillie. Heard it's amazing though.

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 08:47 PM

He most certainly is. He's very talented and caring and has a lovely personality too. Is it one episode you're watching tonight or a catch up on several?

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 08:47 PM

You really have to give it a watch Aubergine, although prepare for the possibility of your own tears.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 08:49 PM

Oh! I'll be prepared! What channel do they show it on?

Buttons. 23-03-2018 08:49 PM

Happy anniversary Lins!

I'm staying away from pet programmes atm for obv reasons but agree supervet is a legend.

Re Easter stuff my support worker has bought the usual chocolate egg etc palava for her toddler, but has now been told they need to create an Easter bonnet for her to wear to nursery one day. I have to admit me (and said sw) never had the Easter bonnet thing in our childhoods so we aren't really overly sure what to provide-so far she's bought a cute pink hat and some little decoration chicks etc.

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 08:53 PM

Aubergine, it's on Channel 4.

Hi Buttons, it's nice to see you. I don't really understand what Easter bonnets are all about.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 08:59 PM

Ah, cool. Thanks Lindsay! :)

Hey Buttons! :)

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 09:04 PM

How are you feeling now Aubergine?

Aubergine 23-03-2018 09:08 PM

Bit brighter thanks, Lindsay. :) Might try to eat something plain in a bit. Been drinking plenty. I still keep going hot and cold though. Like so cold I'll put my electric blanket and hide under my duvet, and then get boiling hot so I can't bear to have any covers. I'm hoping a good night's sleep will help. Complete waste of my annual leave day today, which I'm rather peeved about!

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 09:09 PM

That is quite annoying being ill on your time off. I hope you wake up tomorrow feeling much better.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 09:12 PM

Thank you. :)

Are you up to much this weekend?

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 09:13 PM

Nope, I very rarely do anything over the weekend. Just try to keep myself busy somehow. Do you have anything planned?

chinahorse 23-03-2018 09:14 PM

I'm not religious at all so we never did the eater thing but bonnets I keep seeing on fb blogs n that seem to have eggs and grass and flowers chicks and ribbons on a straw boater.

You seem perkier aubergine :) something plain can't hurt. Have you taken any paracetamol or anything? That can help with temperature control.

Though it is cold tonight. I saw from under 3 blankets, in my fleecy dressing gown and with the heating on.

Aubergine 23-03-2018 09:16 PM

No, no plans. I must at least stand on my outside doorstep tomorrow, as I haven't been out at all today and I need to go out every day really or I get into a pickle. Sunday I might do church in the evening, depending on how I'm feeling. Need to do some tidying really. :)

I hope you're able to kee yourself busy. :) There's usually someone here, isn't there, so don't be afraid to say hello and reach out for company! :)

Aubergine 23-03-2018 09:17 PM

Thanks Lillie. :) I've taken some paracetamol. Just rolling with it really, and hoping that it doesn't stop me sleeping tonight! :)

You do sound cold!

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 09:23 PM

A bit of fresh air might be good Aubergine. :)

Lilie, that sounds sweltering!

Aubergine 23-03-2018 09:24 PM

I think so, Lindsay. :)

I might construct Alec's cat tree. :)

one_step_closer 23-03-2018 09:26 PM

That's a good plan. From what I can remember they're usually quite simple to build although I'm sure I've had ones where I couldn't build all the levels because they didn't seem to fit. How long is it before Alec comes to you?

chinahorse 23-03-2018 09:27 PM

You could go hunt for an easter egg to get yourself aubergine? If you feel well enough.

I'm still cold. Like painfully so. Brrrrrrr
